A Letter from the CEO
In 1986, five partners envisioned what a great company could be. To make that vision a reality, they focused their efforts on developing new materials for semiconductor manufacturers. As a result, ATMI grew and grew—we are now recognized as a world leader in the development of materials and materials packaging for the semiconductor and flat panel industries.

Our workplace has also grown and changed since we began our small company, but the core values and culture remain the same. We want ATMI to be a fair, productive, efficient, enjoyable, and safe work environment. We have an obligation to our employees, customers, shareholders, and the public to operate in an ethically and socially responsible manner.
